From the recording Sunshine
Inspired by watching the beautiful sunlight cascading thru the window of her Toronto apartment in the middle of a Canadian Winter, the lyrics and part of the melody to "Sunshine" came pouring out of Rahne like a Heavenly download! A Florida Native of Cherokee and Creek heritage, RAHNE was born with an intrinsic awareness of the divine aspects of music. Her musical abilities landed her an opportunity to co-write the single "Sunshine" with Grammy Nominated and Juno Award Winner, Eddie Bullen. "Sunshine" was recorded with Acid Jazz band Achanti and produced by Eddie Bullen at Thunder Dome Sounds Studio in Toronto.
Lyrics
VERSE 1
When I look in your eyes, I can see myself inside
The light inside of you fills my soul, there is no disguise ooh
See the sunlight
I can see the sunrise in your eyes
CHORUS
(Hello Sunshine)
Nothing is as beautiful without you
Love shines from you within you oh
(Hello Sunshine)
Won’t survive the darkness here without you
VERSE 2
I’ve heard it said that the eyes, are the doors to our very soul
And that we truly live when we dream, we set our spirit free
Free as Sunlight
I can see my spirit in your eyes
CHORUS
(Hello Sunshine)
Nothing is as beautiful without you
Love shines from you within you oh
(Hello Sunshine)
Can’t survive the darkness here without you, without you
BRIDGE
(Sunshine) .. You are my Sunshine
(Sunshine) .. You are my Sunshine
Oooh let me hear some Bass …
BASS SOLO (8 bars)
VERSE 3
I hear the music in your voice, A symphony of joy and pain
Your melody of love fills my heart, after every rain ooh
See the sunlight
I can see the music in your eyes
CHORUS
(Hello Sunshine)
Nothing is as beautiful without you
Love shines from you within you oh
(Hello Sunshine)
Can’t survive the darkness here without you, without you
CHORUS
(Hello Sunshine)
Hello Sunshine, darkness fades away, it’s a brand new day
(Hello sunshine)
Hello Sunshine, the light that shines my way, hello Sunshine
CHORUS
(Hello Sunshine)
Hello hello Sunshine, Sunshine yeah yeah
(Hello Sunshine)
Hello hello Sunshine, yes
(See the Sunlight)
I can see the music in your eyes!
